Rachel Alexis Halbert Tipton
Murray Thomas Miles, Jr Scholarship
Lexy is the daughter of Rachel and Clay Hullett of Lebanon. She is a graduate of Watertown High School and most recently MTSU where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and held a 3.5 GPA. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree while serving as a 4-H Agent through UT Extension in Smith County. She is married to Jacob Tipton and resides on the family farm in Lascassas where they raise registered Boer Goats.
Abby DeBerry
Rutherford County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Abby is the daughter of Brook and Jason DeBerry of the Milton community. She is a 2026 graduate of Oakland High School with a 3.91 GPA. She served as the 2025 – 2026 FFA Vice President for Oakland FFA. Abby will attend MTSU this fall where she will major in Agribusiness and minor in communications. Her long- term goal is to pursue a career in agricultural policy or agricultural advocacy and communications.
Will Hasty
Rutherford County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Will is the son of Jeffrey Hasty and Leanne Hasty of the Smyrna community. He is a 2026 graduate of Stewarts Creek High School and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He served as the 2025 – 2026 FFA President for Stewarts Creek FFA. Will plans to attend MTSU in the fall where he will major in plant and soil science. His long-term goal is to have a career in soil conservation or as an agronomist.
