Jacob Tipton of Lascassas, TN
Jacob is the son of Bill and Vanessa Tipton of the Lascassas Community. He is a 2018 graduate of Oakland High School. Jacob is an agribusiness/education major at MTSU, where he plans to become a high school ag teacher and FFA advisor. His passion is exhibiting his farm-bred and raised commercial and registered boer goats in local, county, state, and national levels as well as ABGA boer goat shows. Jacob is very active in the livestock industry, maintaining his goat and cattle farm, hay forage business, church, college Christian student center ABGA, JABGA, MTSU Ambassador of Agriculture Leadership Team, Block and Bridle, Collegiate FFA, Rutherford County Young Farmers and Ranchers, and other various volunteer opportunities. Jacob is currently an Senior at MTSU and plans to graduate in December 2021.
Haylee A Ferguson of Eagleville, TN
Haylee is the daughter of Kevin and Phyllis Ferguson of the Eagleville Community. She is a 2021 graduate of Eagleville High School. Haylee plans to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the Herbert College of Agriculture majoring in Animal Science with an Animal Industries concentration. She is very active in FFA and 4-H activities with awards too numerous to mention. Haylee is passionate about the Beef industry and promoting correct livestock industry information to the general public.
Abigail Cerna of Lavergne, TN
Abigail Cerna is the daughter of Doris Cerna of Lavergne. She is a 2021 graduate of Lavergne High School where she was active in FFA as a vice-president and then as president. Abigail received the Academic Excellence Award for Agriculture. She plans to attend MTSU and major in Animal Science. Her ultimate goal is to become a large animal veterinarian. Abigail also plans to one day travel to Honduras, where her aunt lives, to teach underprivileged children about veterinary medicine.
Carter Faulk of Murfreesboro, TN
Carter Faulk is the son of Trent Faulk and Marinne Woolum. He is a 2021 graduate of Blackman High School where he was active in FFA as Sentinel in 2018 – 19, Treasurer 2019- 2020 and Vice-President 2020 – 21. Carter plans to attend the Lincoln College of Technology / Nashville where he will pursue certification in heavy equipment diesel mechanics, focusing on farm equipment. His goal to stay active in agriculture through mechanics.
